They are coming and they are ready to invest on the country; as it has been publicly known; an important group of members of the Lateinamerika Verein (LAV) visited Costa Rica last month looking for the best business opportunities for their companies.

The Lateinamerika Verein (LAV), also known as Business Association for Latin America, seeks to promote the economic and social relationships between Germany, the European Union and Latin America.

So now that we know what they are about, let me mention some of their members: DSD Noell, Siemens, LBBW, Taylor Wessing, NEED, and MAN, just to name a few.

While NEED and MAN are looking forward to focus their attention on business initiatives developing the production of renewable energy solutions (Involving Sugar Cane and different Palm products). DSD Noell, Siemens and the rest, are putting their eyes on Limon, the most important seaport in the country. Here they expect to be a part of the new development plans for the docks and its services.

This news had really captured my attention; I will be following its developments.
